Now this was an interesting one. My agency was tasked with managing a Federal Government program to promote social cohesion among disenfranchised young men, using a communications platform. Pages upon pages of dense, complex research and strategy had to be distilled into content that the audience could watch and enjoy that didn’t feel manufactured (or worse, “cringe”). So, the question of how to condense a feature film’s worth of messages into an Instagram Reel? It was one I took on with gusto here, ideating and writing a film series where we spent time with the founder of Sydney-based charity, Brothers In Need. What you see here is the hero film from that campaign.
